The short version: we measure how people use this site, we keep what you send us when you sign up or get in touch, and we do not sell any of it. No ads, no ad pixels, no user accounts, no payments on this site.
Who we are
Widgetsflow is a FlutterFlow and AI automation agency. The website widgetsflow.com and the Widgetsflow business are operated by Mega Creations LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Mega Creations LLC, trading as Widgetsflow. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
For anything about this policy or your data, email contact@widgetsflow.com.
What do we collect?
1. Analytics
Two analytics tools tell us which pages are read and where visitors come from. They load only on widgetsflow.com.
- Google Analytics 4. Sets cookies and records your approximate location (worked out from your IP address), device and browser type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or search that sent you. Google processes this for us. See Google's privacy policy.
- Our own analytics, hosted at analytics.widgetsflow.com. It gives your browser a random visitor ID (kept in local storage and in a cookie for up to a year) and a session ID (cleared after 30 minutes of inactivity). It records the page you viewed, the referring site, your screen size, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. It is not shared with any third party.
We also count clicks on "Book a call" links, recording only which button was clicked. None of this tells us your name or email unless you give it to us yourself.
2. The newsletter
The blog has an optional newsletter signup. It asks for your email address only. The form is handled by Formspree, which passes it to us. We use it to send new posts and occasional updates, and nothing else. Reply or email us at any time to be removed.
3. Enquiries and booked calls
If you email us or book a call, we keep what you send: your name, email, and what you tell us about your project. We use it to reply, prepare for the call and, if we work together, deliver the work. Calls are booked through Cal.com, which handles the booking details under its own policy.
4. Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
5. Data inside client projects
When a client hires us to build or automate something, we may handle data that belongs to them or their users. We do that only on the client's instructions and under our agreement with them. The client's own privacy policy covers that data, not this one.
What do we not do?
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We do not run advertising or ad-tracking pixels on this site.
- We do not have user accounts, so no passwords or profiles are stored here.
- We do not take payments through this website.
Why do we use your data?
- Analytics and security: our legitimate interest in understanding which content is useful and keeping the site running safely.
- The newsletter: your consent, given when you sign up. You can withdraw it whenever you like.
- Enquiries and client work: to answer your request and to take steps toward, or carry out, a contract with you.
- Records: to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics sets cookies to recognise return visits. Our own analytics stores a visitor ID and a session ID in your browser, as described above. Neither is needed for the site to work.
You can clear or block both in your browser settings, or browse in a private window. Nothing on the site stops working if you do. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere.
Who do we share it with?
Only the services named above: Google, Formspree, Cal.com and Cloudflare. Each processes data to provide its part of this site. We may also share data where the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers who are bound by confidentiality.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, they rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long do we keep it?
- Google Analytics data: deleted on the rolling retention period set in our account, which is never more than 14 months.
- Our own analytics: kept while it is useful for spotting traffic trends.
- Newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Enquiries and project correspondence: while we are talking or working together, and afterwards only as long as we need it for our records and legal obligations.
What are your rights?
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. If you are in the EU or UK, these rights come from the GDPR and the UK GDPR, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have similar rights to know, correct and delete, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
To use any of these rights, email contact@widgetsflow.com. We reply within 30 days. It is free, and you do not need to give a reason.
How do we protect it?
The site is served only over HTTPS, the analytics scripts never run on test or preview copies of the site, and access to the accounts that hold your data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps and will tell you if a breach affects your data where the law requires it.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be called out here, not made quietly.
